At the foot of Jeti-Oghuz is the aging Soviet style sanatorium (health spa). Built in 1932, Boris Yeltsin & the first Kyrgyz President Askar Akaev had their first meetings; Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin decompresses here. The compound consists of a hostel, a small park, tea and meal houses, and the sanatorium itself. A good course will take 2 full days, and treatments to be prescribed by a doctor upon registration. A tour of the facilities reveal some interesting treatments performed by Physicist. This series took relative depths into the Eletro-Magneto treatment center, whereby Russian designed equipment functions since the 1970’s. Although the equipments look non-confirming by today’s standard, the basic principles of their functions in treatment are the same.
