Hazarajat is the Lands of the Hazara people, and Bamyan is the main town. This story covers Band-e-amir and Yakawlang, which is into Hazarajat from Bamyan. Band-e-Amir is a gem from Hazarajat in Afghanistan, rugged and absolutely scenic. Yakawlang looks like a cowboy town of the Hazara people, very raw and real, with more rugged Hazara people, and even a family of Hazara Bolas (cousins, brothers). Moving in from Yakawlang, air is fresh, sun is great, and picnic along a river, with absolutely no fear of … Talibans?
Band-e-amir is a gem from Hazarajat. Band means Dam, and there are a series of lakes that were formed by these dam. The rich minerals from the water gives the lake deep blue colours. Featured here is the biggest lake Band-e-Haibat.
